Paul Dorosheff oral history interview, 1974.

Dorosheff discusses joining the Seabees, his training, the Army installation at Phu Bai, his jobs in hut and bridge construction, American soldiers' treatment of the Vietnamese, Vietnamese attitudes and customs, prostitution, drug use among American soldiers, his injury and the process of returning to the United States, and the beautiful geography of Vietnam.

Paul Dorosheff joined the Navy Seabees in 1967 to get a good carpentry education. In Vietnam he constructed huts used by military personnel at Phu Bai and constructed small bridges in several locations around the country.
